Through Manaram Foundation we have established 180+ libraries, donated 55,000+ books, supported 70+ students on scholarship and empowered 40,000+ farmers across Nepal. Here is what drives that work, and where it goes.

Education

Establishment of libraries

Opening doors through learning.

In collaboration with Manaram Foundation, we have established 180+ libraries all over Nepal, including 165 school libraries, 10 town libraries, 3 public office libraries, 2 airport libraries and 5 e-libraries.

Education

Manaram Scholarship Program

In collaboration with Manaram Foundation, we support students from need-based and merit-based backgrounds to pursue quality education.

  • 70+ students supported, with a strong focus on girls’ education (approximately 75% girls)
  • Ongoing support for 3 female students a year studying Agriculture and Veterinary Science at TU–IAAS, Nepal
  • 12 students supported over the past 4 years in their undergraduate journey
  • Need-based scholarships for deserving children of Manaram employees

Stationery Distribution Program

To ensure students have the tools they need to learn, we distribute educational stationery to public schools every year.

  • Support provided to 50 public schools across Province 1
  • 6,000+ students from ECD to Grade 12 reached
  • Annual stationery support for need-based children of Manaram employees

School Dress Distribution

We support dignity and inclusion in education by providing school uniforms to students in public schools.

  • 400+ students supported from ECD to Grade 12, with Manaram Foundation, across Province 1

Livestock Vaccination Support

FMD and Lumpy Skin Disease

To safeguard farmers’ livelihoods, we support government-led animal health initiatives.

  • Logistical support for FMD and Lumpy Skin Disease vaccination programmes
  • 41,000 livestock vaccinated with the public Animal Welfare Service Departments of Province 1

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training for farmers

We support farmers with GMP training to strengthen capacity, improve product quality, and promote sustainable business practices within the dairy value chain.

Blood Donation Program

We organize regular blood donation drives at Manaram, mobilizing employees and community members in collaboration with trusted partners.

  • Partnerships with Red Cross Birtamode, TU Blood Bank and Research Center, and Lions Club of Kathmandu Mt. Makalu
  • 200 pints of blood donated annually, supporting life-saving healthcare needs

Elevator for the elderly at Krishna Temple

We supported the installation of a modern elevator at Radha Krishna Sewa Sanstha to improve accessibility and convenience for the elderly. The elevator, with a capacity of up to 10 persons at a time, has been successfully installed and formally handed over to the institution.

Tree Plantation Program

Acting responsibly for a sustainable future.

Every year on World Environment Day, we conduct tree plantation drives to promote environmental stewardship.
